Athena Award
The St. Paul Athena Awards Program honors outstanding female senior student-athletes from St. Paul and suburban high schools for their athletic achievements. The award is based on excellence in individual sports or for participation and accomplishments in team sports.
Athena is the Goddess of Wisdom and Skills. She was brave and possessed the essence of all that is noble. Legend tells us that she possessed the gifts of dignity, power, and youth, making her invincible.

SPA Athena Award Process
Each year, St. Paul Academy and Summit School recognizes one female senior athlete based on excellence in Athletics. This award is predominately, based on sports accomplishments, with other achievements being secondary. ALL SPA senior female student-athletes are eligible to be nominated. The nomination process is LIVE! Fill out THIS form to nominate a deserving, female student-athlete from the class of 2025.
2025 Athena Award Timeline:
1. Nominations due by 2/7
2. Nominees are notified and sent applications by 2/8
3. Applications must be returned by 2/14
4. Award winner announced by 2/24
5. Athena Award Banquette: Wednesday, April 16th
