Girls’ Tennis

In the Class 4A team section semifinals SPA fell to Breck. Nellie Larson ’26 fell in the Section 4A semifinals to a Breck student-athlete in singles competition. 

Boys’ Soccer

Boys’ soccer is headed back to the State tournament for a second year in a row after defeating Minnehaha Academy 2-0 in the Section 3A championship game. Boys’ soccer received the #3 seed for the Class A boys’ soccer state tournament and defeated St. Paul Washington Technology Magnet 2-1 in the state quarterfinals and Holy Family Catholic 2-1 in OT in the semifinals. They will play for the Class A State Championship against Pine Island/Zumbrota Mazeppa on Friday, November 3 at 5 p.m. | Bracket

Girls’ Soccer

Girls’ soccer is headed back to the State tournament for a second year in a row after defeating Minnehaha Academy 3-2 in the Section 3A championship game. Girls’ soccer received the #4 seed for the Class A girls’ soccer state tournament and defeated Esko in epic fashion, winning 2-1 in PKs in the state quarterfinals and Providence Academy 4-3 in the semifinals. They will play for the Class A State Championship against St. Charles on Friday, November 3 at 7:15 p.m. | Bracket 

Volleyball

Spartan Volleyball received the #8 seed in Section 4AA and defeated the #9 seed, Math & Science Academy in the opening round. In the quarterfinals, on Saturday, October 28 SPA fell to a solid Nova Classical squad.

Football (Co-Op)

The SMB Wolfpack received the #6 seed in Section 5AAAA and fell to a talented Benilde-St. Margaret’s team in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 24.

Cross Country

On Tuesday, October 24 our girls’ cross country team finished second in the Section 4A meet behind Nova with a final group score of 56 (only two points behind Nova) and clinched a ticket to the State meet. The girls ran competed on Saturday, November 4 at the University of Minnesota’s Les Bolstad Golf Course on a beautiful fall day. Click HERE for the State results.

Girls’ Swimming and Diving  (Co-Op)

Girls’ Swimming and Diving will begin postseason competition the week of November 6, 2023 in Section 6AA
